You have presented a life story and have tried to explain the matter in a very simple way. When two people are thinking of taking a relationship forward together, but if one of them moves away, the other's heart will definitely be broken. This is natural, but it is much more important to tell the truth in a relationship. Telling the truth may create distance in the relationship, but it can create some comfort in the mind, which you have tried to explain in your story.
