My wonderful friends from this great community. I greet you all. It's your friend, @okokon. I missed this dear community for so long. It has been a donkey years since I posted here. How was your day going? Hope you had a great time. I thank God that I'm great. I come here to intimate you of how my yesterday was. Stay tune, let me give gist you.

Resumption for the third term in my school is always replete with fun-filled activities. One of them is exercise. As the chairman of activities for this term, I had planned on how to make this term lively and fun-filled. I had drawn up weekly exercise till the end of this term in order to make the students mentally sound, in readiness for learning. This first Wednesday was remarkable.

I woke up very early by 5.30am to start preparation for work. After my usual morning prayers, I went straight to bathroom, had my bath, ate breakfast, dressed up and then left for school. By 7am, I was already in school. I went that early in order to plan for the day. I had a lot to do in the school: teaching, marking of notes. But first, a little exercise was imperative.

I divided the students into two groups. Both boys and girls were made to take part. Different exercises were involved. But the one that caught the interest of the students most was the thug of war I made each class to get involve, dragging opponent side across the judgement line.

Each class had representatives who played for them. First was the SS2 boys. The senior prefect boys, Marvellous, was the winner in their category. It wasn't an easy task. This was followed by their girls. Though girls were not as stronger as boys, they proved their prowess in this exercise. I made them to face SS1 girls while I acted like an umpire.

The exercise lasted for just an hour. By 8.30am, we were through. This exercise gave room for a devotion. Students gather to thank and worship God everyday before they begin their classes. I was also there with them to worship God. It was another exciting moment.

The devotion was led by the guest speaker, Pst. William. Pst. Williams comes every Wednesday to preach the word of God to the students. Yesterday's own was a great one as he took the students on a prayer session to mark the beginning of the term.

Devotion ended by 9am and normal classes began. It was difficult yesterday for me to teach consistently for three hours as I used to do before break. This was because I was exhausted after the exercise. Intermittently I had to pause to regain power.

When the school closed by 3pm, I rushed back home so I could relax for a while. I came back home, took bath and then rested for two hours.

When I woke up, I was shocked to realized it was almost dark. I had planned of visiting my sibling at the next neighbourhood but could not again. Rather, I sat down to write my lesson notes I will use in teaching the next day. This took me till 8.30pm when I retired to bed and then dozed off.

That was how my yesterday, Wednesday was. Thank you for staying tune and reading my post. Have a great time. Keep steeming
