OPINIONS...
Abu grunted while pulling the donkey by the rope tied to its neck in the market.
But the animal was stubborn and wouldn't move easily.
“ He's going to choke the donkey. Wouldn't it be better if he just carried it?” A market woman sneered at him beneath her breadth, but it was meant for him to hear.
‘That seems like a bright idea’ thought Abu. The donkey doesn't seem like it would be too heavy either. Hurriedly, he tied the animal's limbs before raising it behind his neck. He was wrong! ‘cause the donkey had weight but at least they moved from the one spot. That was a progres.
Few steps away from the market, under a tree, an old man lamented.
“I thought I've seen it all. Aren't you the dumbest?! Carrying a donkey. Isn't it supposed to be carrying you instead? You could just mount on it and direct it. Tch.
‘That seems like a bright idea too.’ Abu thought. Quickly he dropped the donkey; he untied it before mounting on it and soon he was on his way along with the donkey.
Few steps forward again, he heard voices.
“He's evil!”
“Never seen something as cruel as this”
“Me too. He's going to kill the young donkey”
Some little children pointed at him while yelling out their thoughts. He felt guilty and quickly, he was off the donkey.
At this point, he was fed up. He just wanted to go home with the donkey but he's getting judged here and there.
Everyone has an opinion about his choice of action and he seemed to be wanting to satisfy them by dancing to their tune, all the way from the market. Would he dance to all tunes and beats at the same time?
The realization dawned on him. Perhaps they could just mind their business and he'd do what he wants.
You can't satisfy humans anyways, no matter what you do. Irrespective of what we do or how we do it, humans cannot please themselves as everyone has something to say.
We have different points of views too.
Abu might decide to drag the donkey all the way home. It might work
Abu might have also stuck to carrying it all the way home, if it works for him.
Abu might have also succeeded in riding it all the way home too.
Knowing oneself and what works for us might be an advisable life hack.
We're humans.
So obviously yes, I have questioned the actions of my close ones (definitely not outsiders); especially siblings and friends. For clarification. But there's a limit; especially when one's beginning to seem pushy and like a busybody.
Thanks for reading @solperez😊
Jeje.
