Imum Syafi'i Mosque Jeunib

I will review a magnificent and large mosque located in Bireuen district, this mosque is called the Imum Syafi'i Jeunib Mosque. Imum Syafi'i Mosque is located in Jeunib sub-district, that's why people often mention Imum Syafi'i Jeunib Mosque. This mosque is located right on the Banda Aceh - Medan national crossing road. A lot of visitors stop by and worship at this mosque because of the comfortable and clean atmosphere. The mosque is open 24 hours, so anyone who wants to stop by is allowed by the mosque management.

Entrance

The Imum Syafi'i Jeunib mosque is large and white in color. The inside of the mosque is very spacious, the floor is covered with white ceramic tiles, making the atmosphere cool underfoot. Each floor has a black saf line, the worshipers who worship can follow the existing saf line so as not to get the wrong qibla. White and large poles that support the roof and dome of the mosque. There are mineral water drinks provided at the door given free of charge to worshipers who are worshiping at the mosque.

Side Terrace

The mosque is entered from the side door. Before the door there is a little open space or terrace that makes the mosque look more beautiful. The terrace of the mosque has several steps. This terrace can also be used by worshipers or visitors who stop by this mosque to rest or lie down. In the mosque it is forbidden to sleep, so the mosque terrace can be the solution.

Mosque Dome

The dome of the mosque has beautiful carvings coupled with a charming gold color so that it can be a cooler for the eyes of worshipers who are worshiping here. The color of the gold dome combined with a little green and brown produces an extraordinary work.

Inside

Inside there are red and green prayer mats. There is a large pulpit that is used to give tausiah on Fridays or other holidays. The fan consists of two types, one standing on the floor and the other attached to the wall. There is also an imam's room for praying.

Women's Safes

The women's prayer space is located at the back. The women's prayer area is covered by a brown curtain that runs from the left to the right wall. The curtain is also of sufficient height so that men cannot see their non-muhrim aurat.

Prayer mat

The prayer rugs have two colors: red and green. Both of these prayer mats are spread across the front of the mosque. The prayer mat is still soft and thick, so when the congregation corners it no longer feels the magic of the head.

Tausiyah pulpit

The tausiyah pulpit in this mosque is large. There are several steps that must be passed to get to the top. The pulpit is made of wood and painted in brown color.

After Asr Prayer

I prayed asr in this mosque. It feels very comfortable to pray here. I stopped here because my journey to Lhokseumawe was still far away and the asr time was almost up.

Quran and Book Cabinets

Imum Syafi'i mosque provides the Koran for anyone who wants to read the Koran. The Koran and several books are located in a cupboard, neatly and nicely organized.

Speaker

The mosque speakers are large, placed at each corner of the mosque. The mosque speakers are black in color for all four sides. The speakers will help the voice of the preacher or muezzin to be heard clearly inside and outside the mosque.

Digital Information Board

The digital information board displays information in the form of day, date, mosque imam, number of donations and prayer times. With this information board, worshipers who enter the mosque will know the information without having to ask the mosque officer.

Savings Box

The Imum Syafi'i mosque provides a charity savings city for anyone who wants to give alms or donate a little of their wealth to others who are more in need. The savings box in this mosque is round and made of glass so that the amount of money that has been saved inside can be seen from the eyes of worshipers.

There are two fans in this mosque: standing fans and hanging fans. The standing fan is located at the front with a total of 4 units, while the hanging fan is around 20 units. Imum Syafi'i Jeunib Mosque uses fans as air conditioners so that the worshipers who are worshiping feel comfortable and cool.

Female ablution

The women's ablutions are located next to the men's ablutions. The women's ablution is clean, the water is strong and the room is large.

Men's ablutions can be done through water taps and water tanks. In the water tap section, the water is clean and all taps are functioning properly. None of the taps were broken or malfunctioning. Meanwhile, the water tub is used together by taking water from the tub using a dipper.

Slipper Holder

The place to put sandals in this mosque is available at the back of the left side. The sandal rack is made of white iron. The sandal rack is divided into two large sections. This sandal rack is very helpful because the sandals will be neatly arranged and easily take back the sandals that have been placed.

Motorcycle Parking Area

Imum Syafi'i Mosque provides a motorcycle parking area near the shoe rack. The parking area is spacious and visitors can be sure to be comfortable and safe. Motorcycles must be in a safe condition because there are officers on guard.

The parking area also provided by this mosque is very wide. The parking area includes the front, back, right side. The parking lot is planted with trees so that visitors' cars will not feel the heat.

Garbage Can

The Imum Syafi'i mosque provides garbage cans in the area outside the mosque. visitors who have just arrived at the mosque, if there is garbage or food scraps from visitors, then everything must be placed in the car. The mosque has a clean inner courtyard.

Snacks

Within the mosque grounds, there are several snacks already available. The snacks here vary from funnel ice cream, meatball rolls and sweet tea. The number of people who come to this mosque can bring sustenance to the sellers of these snacks.
